Overcoming obstacles builds resilience from "summary" of The Last Black Unicorn by Tiffany Haddish

Life has a funny way of throwing obstacles in your path when you least expect it. These obstacles can come in all shapes and sizes, testing your patience, strength, and resilience. But what if I told you that these obstacles are actually a blessing in disguise? They may seem like roadblocks at first, but they are actually opportunities for growth and self-discovery. When you face obstacles head-on and overcome them, you are building resilience. Resilience is like a muscle that gets stronger the more you exercise it. It allows you to bounce back from setbacks and challenges with grace and determination. It gives you the strength to keep going when everything seems to be falling apart. In my own life, I have faced more obstacles than I can count. From growing up in foster care to dealing with abusive relationships, I have had my fair share of challenges. But each obstacle I faced only made me stronger and more determined to succeed. I refused to let my past define me, and instead used it as fuel to propel me forward. One of the most important lessons I have learned is that you can't control what happens to you, but you can control how you react to it. Instead of letting obstacles defeat me, I chose to face them head-on with courage and resilience. I refused to be a victim of my circumstances, and instead became a survivor. So the next time life throws an obstacle in your path, don't see it as a setback. See it as an opportunity to grow and become stronger. Embrace the challenge, and let it push you to new heights. Remember, overcoming obstacles builds resilience - and resilience is the key to success in the face of adversity.
