Don't make excuses for not starting from "summary" of Rework by Jason Fried,David Heinemeier Hansson

When it comes to starting something new, it's easy to come up with excuses. We tell ourselves we don't have enough time, money, or resources. We convince ourselves that the timing isn't right, or that we need to do more research before we can begin. But the truth is, these excuses only hold us back from taking that first crucial step. The longer we wait to start, the more reasons we'll find to delay. We think we need to plan every last detail before we can make a move. We tell ourselves we're not ready yet, that we need to wait for the perfect moment to begin. But the reality is, there will never be a perfect moment. There will always be obstacles and challenges in our way. Instead of making excuses, we need to take action. We need to embrace the uncertainty and the unknown. We need to be willing to make mistakes and learn from them. It's better to start imperfectly than to never start at all. Progress is made by taking that first step, no matter how small or imperfect it may be. So, don't let excuses hold you back. Don't wait for the perfect moment or the perfect plan. Just start. Take that first step, and then the next one. Keep moving forward, even if it's scary or uncertain. The only way to make progress is to begin. Don't make excuses for not starting. Just start.
